What you’ll do as a Technical SEO Specialist
The Technical SEO Specialist job is the perfect job for you if you want to flood yourself with everything related to search engine optimization each and every day. At Emakina that means you are able to approach SEO from a technical perspective, and also have a good eye for content. There’s numerous things you can think of to optimize websites according to search engine requirements, and you make it happen too!
Equipped with extensive knowledge of SEO, you’ll be creating guidelines for developers and content managers, audit implementations, and give our clients insights into their current SEO performance. You’ll perform full SEO audits, page speed and performance checks and regular technical onsite checks. You are the one handling website migrations. Presenting insights and convincing clients based on real data makes you happy.
Your key soft skills as a Technical SEO Specialist? You’re a multi-tasker and stress resistant. As Emakina is a digital agency with many different clients, you know how to organize your work and set priorities. And you have excellent communication skills: you know what to communicate when and you do this in an effective way.
This is you in a nutshell
For this role, we need you to have at least:
- 3+ years technical SEO experience;
- Experience defining SEO solutions, working directly with developers, QA testing, and monitoring results after launch to determine if and what changes are needed;
- Experience with defining requirements for situations such as: redirects, various migrations, structured data, internationalization, etc.;
- Experience reviewing wireframes and identifying all SEO requirements for development;
- Experience writing detailed SEO specifications for development teams as well as content teams;
- Significant experience with some of the industry standard tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Moz, SEMrush, Screamingfrog, Deepcrawl, etc.;
- SFCC experience is preferable.
