One of the perks of working at Emakina is the annual wintersport break. The trip came early this year, and it was soooooooo good! No broken bones, just broken nights.
Ski, snowboard, chill
Every year we have a weekend of fun in the snow. Whether you are an experienced snowboarder or skier, you still need to learn, or you are just in it for the scenery and atmosphere: it’s all good. The main thing is to enjoy yourself and get to know your colleagues a bit better.
Eat, ski, rave and repeat
This year’s wintersport break started in the early hours, but by the time we arrived in Gerlos everyone was ready to eat, ski, rave and repeat. Which is exactly what we did. After receiving our ski-passes and materials for skiing and snowboarding we made our way to either the ski lift or one of the ski or snowboard classes. Some of us went to have a nice wintery walk and others just soaked up the sun at one of the nearby bars.
After hitting the slopes, we hit the après ski bars. The music may not be everyone’s taste, but the chance to bond with colleagues sure is. So we talked, danced and joked the night away. Just to do it all over again the next day. Love it!
Snowlovers are treelovers!
As we all flew to our winter destination, some colleagues thought it would be nice to compensate our flights. So through a typical Dutch Tikkie, everyone was invited to (voluntarily!) compensate. Emakina doubled the amount, which means we contributed the equivalent of 44 trees to the projects of Trees for All. Thank you snowlovers!
